Job Title: Skilled Laborer — Concrete Construction
Location: Sevierville, TN
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly
Summary: Perform skilled concrete-related tasks on construction sites, including forming, finishing, reinforcing, and concrete placement. Work with minimal supervision to complete complex concrete work, mentor less experienced crew, operate specialized tools and equipment, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, set, brace, and strip formwork for footings, slabs, walls, curbs, sidewalks, and other concrete structures.
- Place, consolidate, screed, float, trowel, and finish concrete to specified tolerances and surface finishes (broom, trowel, tining, exposed aggregate).
- Install, tie, and inspect reinforcing steel (rebar, mesh); layout and maintain correct cover and spacing.
- Operate and maintain concrete placement equipment: pumps, vibrators, screeds, hand floats, finishing machines, saws, grinders.
- Read and interpret basic plans, layout drawings, and grade stakes; perform accurate layout and elevation checks.
- Perform form carpentry and minor concrete repairs; pour and finish footings, pads, and structural elements.
- Use and maintain hand and power tools safely; ensure tools are serviceable and stored properly.
- Mentor and supervise general laborers on concrete techniques, site safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors to sequence work and meet schedules.
- Follow project specifications, quality control procedures, and curing practices; perform finishing touch-ups and repairs as needed.
- Identify and report site hazards, material issues, or nonconforming work; follow corrective actions.
- Follow site safety plans; use required PPE (hard hat, gloves, eye protection, hi-vis, fall protection gear).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on concrete construction experience preferred.
- Proven skills in forming, finishing, and reinforcing concrete.
- Ability to read/interprete basic construction drawings and perform layout.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mix behavior, curing, finishing techniques, and tolerances.
- Comfortable operating concrete pumps, trowels, power screeds, saws, and vibrators.
- Leadership ability to direct and train less experienced workers.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–100+ lbs with assistance; frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods.
- Work outdoors in variable conditions; comfortable with heights and confined spaces as required.
- Stamina for long shifts and occasional overtime.

Job Title: Concrete Line Pump Operator
Location: Sevierville, TN
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly
Summary: Operate and maintain concrete line pump equipment to deliver concrete to placement points safely and efficiently. Coordinate with crew, rig concrete pump and hose lines, monitor placement, and perform routine maintenance and pre/post-job checks to ensure quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, rig, and dismantle concrete line pump, placing hoses/lines per plan and site conditions.
- Operate line pump controls to pump concrete at required volumes and pressures; monitor flow and slump.
- Adjust pump speed and pressure to match placement needs and avoid blockages; clear blockages safely.
- Coordinate with pump crew, finishers, foremen, and truck drivers to sequence pours and ensure timely delivery.
- Inspect hoses, couplings, fittings, gaskets, valves, and pump components before, during, and after shift; report defects.
- Perform routine maintenance: lubrication, basic repairs, cleaning, and pressure/wear checks.
- Ensure pump placement meets project specs, line lengths, and safety clearances; verify line support and anchor points.

Job Title: CDL Driver — Concrete Construction
Location: Sevierville, TN
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly
Summary: Safely operate company dump trucks and heavy trucks with trailers to transport concrete-related materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites. Ensure timely deliveries, secure loads, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and assist with on-site loading/unloading as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks and heavy trucks with trailers to haul aggregates, concrete, formwork, tools, and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections; report and document defects or incidents.
- Secure loads properly (tarps, chains, straps) and verify weight limits and load distribution.
- Back, position, and maneuver vehicles on job sites; assist with spotting and guidance when required.
- Coordinate with dispatch, project foremen, and site personnel to meet delivery schedules and routing instructions.
- Offload/load materials and equipment safely; assist crew with basic site tasks when safe and appropriate.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle logbooks, DOT paperwork, and fuel/timesheets.
- Adhere to all DOT, state, and company safety regulations, traffic laws, and site-specific safety protocols.
- Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and well-maintained; perform minor maintenance and report needed repairs.

Required Qualifications:
