Sensible Concrete Furnishes SMARM Book Closet
One of our community projects at Sensible Concrete has to do with the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries in downtown Sevierville. SMARM is a major provider for needs and community growth and goodness in our county and they operate a library of books and fun crafts and arts supplies, back to school supplies, and things that growing kids and families need. SMARM collects donations from the community and Sensible Concrete Works along with other businesses in the community works to keep the closet stocked for our families who may have less access to these items.
The SMARM Book Closet is stocked with:
- Bibles
- Paperback Books that Adults can enjoy
- Chapter Books and Paperbacks for Teenagers
- Children’s Books
- Baby Board Books
- Coloring Books
- Markers
- Crayons
- Paper
And more!
The book closet is serviced weekly and it makes us so happy that we know these items are getting in to the hands of families in our communities who can grow due to the donations. If you would like to become a SMARM volunteer and help make charity efforts like the Book Closet flourish and help our community, call SMARM at 865-908-3153 and let them know you would like to become a volunteer.
